We are so excited about this activity that is fun for all ages! In this class, paint is applied to the surface of a special water bath. Floating the colors in our custom-built water marbling trays, combs and a stylus are used to create a one of a kind masterpiece silk scarf. The class begins with our artist giving instructions and making the first water marbled scarf to demonstrate multiple design techniques. Cost is $50 for the first scarf and $30 for each additional scarf per person. We prepare the exact amount of material ahead of time for each class. No refunds or credits for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or for no shows.

Our Maker Meet-Up is a free community event to support local artists, held the last Friday of each month from January through September. *** September Activity:* Glaze bowls made in August meet-up, to support Empty Bowls 2027 (Tarrant Area Food Bank annual fundraiser) *** These monthly mixers encourage networking, discussing products and techniques, sharing information, developing resources, learning about upcoming events, and most importantly having FUN! Pottery Luminary Handbuilding Class. Please join this class to hand-build a decorative luminary. You will learn slab and template techniques to make the form and then punch out a unique design for light to pass though. Glaze colors will be chosen at the end of the class and will be applied by the studio. Projects will be ready to pick up in about 2 weeks. Luminary finished dimensions about 6"w x 4.5"l x 7.75"h. Fits up to a 3" diameter candle. All material and instruction included. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

For this seasonal version of our fused glass activity, you will arrange and assemble pieces of colored glass to make a 4 in. X 4 in. Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed fused glass project. Our artists will guide you through fused glass construction methods and use of the glass cutting tool. Your creation will be left at the studio after the class to be fused in our kiln. They will be ready for pickup approximately 1-2 weeks after the class. No experience necessary. Recommended for 10 years old and up.

For this special holiday workshop, you will design and create a beautiful decorative glass art piece that stands up for display. The finished size is about 11in high x 4 inches wide. Our artists will provide complete instruction for design and guide you through use of the glass cutting tool and assembly. Your project will remain at the studio after class to fused in our kiln and mounted for display. No experience necessary. Recommended for 12 years old and up.

Desert Lights - Acrylic Painting On 16 x 24 Inch Canvas. This is an instructor led class. All material included. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Winter Break Block Printing Day! Students will learn how to create a mirror-image design, practice with carving tools and cut and print a unique design on 18 x 24 inch paper. This workshop will use a rubber block which is a beginner friendly way to learn how to use block print carving tools. Prints are brought home at the end of the day. All material provided. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Pottery Intensive Series, Two Day Workshop - Large Lidded Jar (limited to 7 people) Day 1 - Multiple techniques used to make a large lidded jar will be demonstrated by the instructor and then practiced by students. A practice session follows each demonstrated technique. Techniques include: spiral wedging, centering large lumps of clay, using less water, throwing large forms, developing a rim and gallery to accept a lid and making 3 different lid types. Instructor will be working one on one with each student during practice sessions. Day 2 - Techniques will be reviewed and demonstrated and students will continue to practice and focus on techniques of their choosing. Pottery trimming demonstration and trimming practice using the forms made on Day 1, with a focus on gallery/lid fitment. Students can choose up to 3 pieces to be bisque fired. Saturday & Sunday, Feb 21-22, 10am-430pm, $375 This workshop is designed for potters who are well practiced in wheel throwing fundamentals. All material and tools provided. Potters are welcome to bring their own tools.

Students can choose up to 3 pieces to be bisque fired. Saturday & Sunday, March 14-15, 10am-430pm, $375 This workshop is designed for potters who are well practiced in wheel throwing fundamentals. All material and tools provided. Potters are welcome to bring their own tools.
