Acrylic Painting
Our acrylic painting classes are led by an instructor that paints along with the class and gives one on one instructions through each step.
Friday Night Make-A-Mug BYOB
Make-A-Mug is a hand building pottery class. Using hand rolled slabs of clay, templates and texture tools, students will build their new favorite mug!
Fluid Art
Choose from 2 canvas sizes to make your unique design. Our instructor will assist from start to finish. Fluid or pour painting with acrylic is a fun and exciting way to create beautiful abstract art. You will use various colored and premixed acrylic paints on a 18 x 24 inch canvases. Our artists will instruct you through several fluid art techniques and make the first "pour" so you can see the effects. Paintings will be left to dry for 48 hours at the studio and then varnished by our artist before they can be picked up. No experience necessary. Recommended for 8 years and up. All materials provided.
Fused Glass
Fused glass offers a world of creative possibilities. Make decorative panels, wall art pieces, window designs, jewelry, colorful pendants, earrings, bracelets or home decor like coasters, candle holders, wind chimes, mosaic tiles or ornaments and seasonal decorations.
Water Marbling on Silk
Water marbling on silk is a fascinating and creative art form that allows you to create unique and colorful patterns on fabric like scarves, wall hangings, ties, handkerchiefs, table runners, etc.
Date Night/Group Pottery Wheel Lesson
Instructor-lead, learn beginner wheel skills, make several forms, each student will keep the best 2 forms and the choose a glaze color to be applied to each by studio staff.
2 Saturday Workshop Handbuilt Pottery Vase
Handbuilt Pottery Vase workshop is typically held over 2 Saturday afternoons. First Saturday 3 hours: design a vase template, roll slabs of clay, use template to cut vase sides, practice hand building techniques on practice clay, assemble the vase, smooth and refine vase surface. Second Saturday 1.5 hours: learn glazing techniques, glaze the vase.
3 Wednesdays Workshop Relief Block Printmaking
Workshop typically takes place on 3 consecutive Wednesdays. You will learn the basics of relief block printing including design layout, cutting linoleum block, print registration and using a print press. This typically is a 3 session, artist guided workshop. All material will be supplied including linoleum carving tools.
